What an honour and privilege!
I recently returned from The Springboard Consultancy Annual Trainers’ Conference 2016 held in Basingstoke, England. A first time experience for me made all the more special because it was both the first conference for the new ownership and management of The Springboard Consultancy and the last conference for the founders of The Springboard Consultancy, Liz Willis and Jenny Daisley.
It was wonderful feeling a part of a community of men and women who are committed to getting the message out there of the immense benefits of personal development training.
In addition to being a member of the audience in the conference, I had been asked to deliver our story of launching Springboard in Trinidad and Tobago – which I did! I am happy to report that my contribution was very well received and I was so pleased to have shared the stage with women reporting on the developments across the Middle East and North Africa and Brazil.
One of the highlights for me was meeting the creators of the award-winning and life-changing Springboard Women’s Development Programme, Liz Willis and Jenny Daisley – amazing women who have left a trail where there was no path!
They have now both retired from the Consultancy and handed over the reins to the new Managing Director, Karen Daly-Gherabi. Karen has already proven herself to be accessible, interested and resourceful. We look forward to working with her in the future.
I thank God for the opportunities afforded by this recent experience – I am all the more committed to this journey of helping women to help themselves!
